Cool stuff from a fire-breathing dragon!

Oasis Audio will create audiobooks for my Dragons in our Midst and Oracles of Fire series!

They will be unabridged with multiple actors doing the voices, and they will come out in MP3 format, perfect for your iPods and up-to-date CD players.

The audio version of Raising Dragons will release in July, then the rest of the books will come out every two months thereafter until they catch up with what I've written.

I'm really pumped about this. I hear from kids who aren't allowed to read my books until their parents read them, but their parents don't have time. They said they would read them if they could get them on audio, so now there’s no excuse. J

I also know kids who are visually impaired, and this is a great way for them to enjoy my books.

Enoch’s Ghost:

The second book in the Oracles of Fire series is finished, edited, and typeset. One early reviewer wrote the following:

This is Christian youth fantasy at its best—excellent writing, high craftsmanship, astonishing places and events, cataclysmic stakes, and a beautiful Christian theme thrumming throughout. A spectacular fantasy novel.

The Fantastic 4 Fantasy Fiction Tour will feature:

  • Wayne Batson is a middle school teacher from Eldersburg, MD and author of the best-selling young adult fantasy series The Door Within trilogy (Tommy Nelson). His latest The Door Within Lost Chapters Edition will release April 14.
  • Bryan Davis is author of the best-selling series for youth, titled Dragons in our Midst and Oracles of Fire (AMG Publishers and Living Ink Books). Currently Bryan lives in Western Tennessee. On June 15, he will release Enoch’s Ghost, the second book in the Oracles of Fire series.
  • Sharon Hinck is a wife and home-school mother of four from Minnesota. Sharon is author of the popular The Secret Life of Becky Miller and Renovating Becky Miller. In May, Sharon will release The Restorer (NavPress), the first book of her new The Sword of Lyric fantasy series for women.
  • And, Christopher Hopper is an international speaker and filmmaker from northern New York. Christopher’s first book was the popular Rise of The Dibor, The White Lion Chronicles, and his second book in that series, The Lion Vrie (Tsaba House) will release in mid June.

Testimony Time: If you would like your testimony included in my newsletter, please let me know how the Dragons in our Midst series has improved your spiritual life. I’ll choose one or more messages I receive during the month. Here are two that I recently received.

From a reader in Indiana:

I also need to thank you for saving my life. When I read those books, I was not a Christian, but the power I saw in these books made me want that close relationship with God that Bonnie and Sapphira had. I am happy to write that I am now a Christian, and my faith is stronger than ever. Someday, I hope to be as great a writer as you are and do the same for somebody else.

From a reader in Iowa:

I have admired your books since the day I started with Raising Dragons all the way to Eye of the Oracle. They made me think about what really is going on out there is the world and that people can be chased forever. I've finished them all since I've gotten them for Christmas and I totally loved them!

The characters in your books are amazing, and they have a heart for God that will never stop them! They could go on in these journeys forever, and I would still read them! Bonnie and Billy are amazing characters and so are Walter, Ashley, and Karen. I love how Bonnie and Billy would have never have met if it weren't for Sapphira Adi and Gabriel. These books kept my heart going and I always couldn't wait to get home and continue the adventures in my books!

Your books have inspired me to do things I never would have done without them. I am going to Mexico this summer to build houses for those who live in harsh areas and live in cardboard boxes. I am excited to hand keys over to the family so that they can actually lock their doors at night! Your books even inspired me to do some community service around the area and cook food with my grandma at a youth center so that those who are homeless around here can have food to eat that isn't from a garbage can.

May God be praised for how He is using these books!
