Echoes from the Edge

Nathan Shepherd loses his parents as the result of a double murder. In order to protect him from the murderers, Nathan goes to live with a new family, his father’s old college buddy and his daughter, Kelly.   A strange mirror in Nathan’s bedroom sometimes shows images that aren’t in front of it, including past events, unfamiliar scenes, and people who are supposed to be dead. Nathan obtains his mother’s violin, which plays, not only beautiful music, but also voices that only Kelly can hear. He also inherits his father’s camera, which takes photos of people and places that aren’t there.   These odd devices launch Nathan and Kelly on an exciting journey as they track down the mysteries surrounding the deaths of Nathan’s parents. He finally discovers that they were murdered by a group that his father had been investigating. He also learns their secret plot to use a technology his father had developed involving capturing the power of light and its ability to create illusions and transport people into parallel dimensions.
