Dragons are not yet extinct!
Although Tears of a Dragon was the last book in the story about Billy and Bonnie, there will be more dragons books. The next one will be a prequel to the original series, an expansion of the story about how the dragons became human. My working title is In the Beginning, and it will carry the Dragons in our Midst logo. It will be published by AMG/Living Ink, and our target publication date is in the fall of 2006.
After that, AMG/Living Ink will publish a new series entitled Oracles of Fire, a trilogy that will pick up where Dragons in our Midst left off, but the main characters will be different. For those of you who have read Tears of a Dragon, I’m sure you already know who they are.

Enoch’s Ghost
Last of the Nephilim
The Bones of Makaidos
When we put these on the calendar for publication, I’ll let you know the dates.
Dragons will once again stalk the shelves of your local bookstore!

I
am sending you this email to let you know how much your "Dragon's in our
Midst" series has meant to my family. Last year my husband and
I had made a decision that would affect our family life. Over the years I
have been increasingly irritated at the content of programming on the
television during the "family viewing time". My husband
and I had found ourselves having to explain things to our children that we did
not feel we should have to explain yet. As a result we decided to
institute a "family reading night". Originally it started out
to be one night a week but it has turned into an everyday thing. We
started with the "Chronicles of Narnia", then the "Cooper Kids
Adventure" series by Frank Peretti. We then found your
"Dragon's in our Midst" series.
My children can not wait until the evening when it is time to read. My
husband reads out loud while the rest either read along or listen to him
read. Your books are not only enjoyable for them but for us as
well. When for some reason we are unable to read one evening my husband
becomes disappointed. Many times while reading your books he becomes so
involved with the story and the Christian struggles incorporated in your books
he becomes overwhelmed and I have to read for him (that is until we are through
the touching or victorious parts).
It's hard to find good fiction books with a Christian focus. You have
done well. After reading the "Chronicles of Narnia" it
was hard to find anything that measured up to that standard. My family is
enjoying this series just as much. They are continually asking me when
book 4 will be at the book store. We just finished book 3 last
week. You have given us something to enhance our family time. Thank
you very much for that.
